April 11-12, 2008 - Northern New England District, Unitarian Universalist Association. Information table co-sponsored by GEI and Vermont Earth Institute.

September 8, 2007 - Heifer International University. Paul Doolittle introduced Earth Institute courses to volunteers for Heifer International's Northeast Region.

May 11, 2006 - NH Business for Social Responsibility, Bedford, NH. Steve Kowal, Paul Doolittle, and Beth Tener described GEI to the Annual Spring Conference. Very successful!

March 14, 2006 - NOFA NH Winter Conference, Tilton NH. GEI Set up and staffed an information table.

March 6, 2005 - GEI Mid-winter Gathering, Durham NH. About 20 GEI mentors, board members, and friends shared our involvement for an afternoon. Tony Federer, GEI board member and compiler of the local chapter in Discovering a Sense of Place, described his holding actions, his personal change, and his efforts to change society's values. The group then entered a lively discussion of how best to publicize courses, and closed with a snowy walk around the newly designated Conservation Easement at the Mill Pond Center.

March 5, 2005 - Northeast Organic Farming Association, New Hampshire Chapter. GEI set up and staffed an information table.

September 19, 2004 - GEI Mentor Training, Durham NH. We trained five new mentors.

August 12-15, 2004 - Northeast Organic Farming Association. GEI set up and staffed an information table.

July 26, 2004 - Granite Earth Institute Reunion, Durham NH. Almost 100 participants in GEI discussion groups enjoyed an evening with Dick and Jeanne Roy, Co-founders of the Northwest Earth Institute. Dick spoke on "Maintaining Hope During Times of Bad News."

July 25, 2004 - Regional Leaders Meeting, Durham NH. Twenty-two Earth Institute activists from five New England States met all day with Dick and Jean Roy and Amanda Mortlock from the Northwest Earth Institute to discuss activities, failures, and successes.

March 6, 2004 - Northeast Organic Farming Association, New Hampshire Chapter. GEI set up and staffed an information table.

August 23-25, 2002 - Regional Earth Institute Training, Dublin, NH. About 75 Earth Institute activists from 13 states discussed and celebrated the purposes, processes, and dissemination of study groups and other Earth Institute programs in the northeastern U.S.

April 29, 2001 - NEI Mentor Training, Belfast ME. Paul Doolittle and Colleen O'Connell trained nine mentors for the future Maine Earth Institute.

February 2-3, 2001 - Northeast Earth Institute Retreat, Merriam Hill Center, Greenville NH.

Friday October 13. 2000 - Joanna Macy, Durham NH. Joanna Macy, internationally-known activist, teacher, and speaker, talked about "The Sustainable Activist - How to Work for Earth Without Going Crazy". The program was attended by well over 100 people. The evening began with a performance by Maya Apfelbaum "The Story of the Elephant", and ended with an Elm Dance.

Saturday October 14, 2000 - Council of All Beings, Durham NH. A Council was led by Paul Doolittle and Coleen O'Connell at the Browne Outdoor Education Center.

Sunday, March 26, 2000 - NEI Gathering, Portsmouth NH. About 20 adults and a number of children celebrated NEI's first networking event at the Urban Forestry Center in. We began with awareness walks in salt marsh and forest, continued by sharing readings and stories, and finished with a communal meal. Naturally, a good time was had by all.

August 13, 1997 - Mentor Training, Merriam Hill Center, Greenville NH. Rosemary Cordello from NWEI trained Paul Doolittle, Suzanne MacDonald, and Coleen O'Connell, and the Northeast Earth Institute begins its work.
